A fire alarm annunicator is the heart of any system as its the main communication interface that displays all of the information about the systems operation.  It is the device that pinpoint troubles, supervisories and alarm conditions that assist building personnel to monitor the functionality of the fire alarm system.


It is important when making decision on whether to evacuation a building and dispatch the fire department to the location. The fire panel is the main computer but the annunicator is the operating system.  By viewing the display, personnel can make informed decisions about the condition of the building.  It is important to determine whether a fire system is reporting a "false alarm" or real alarm condition.


The annunicator also conveys information about the status of the fire sprinkler system and other attached devices.  It is also the device that allows you to silence and acknowledge sirens and signals.  It is the most vital device on any life safety system as it constantly streams information life safety systems.
